Who's That Lady?

Another thrifted treasure. I got this blazer months ago and could not figure out how to incorporate it. It's boxy and fitted at the same time. Finally today I figured it out!

I kept on the shirt in my previous post and swapped the jeans for some simple skinnies. I wanted to pull out the red and gray in this blazer so I wore matching jewelry. 

Just like the shirt in my previous post this jacket has "puffed sleeves". I think these accent my broad shoulders very nicely! Thanks for stopping by!

Ever since I was a little girl I have loved poofy sleeves! I seen this shirt and had to grab it!

It also came in black, white, and pink... I thought gray was the best choice so it would not look like lingerie LOL

I put on a cropped vest and a scarf to wear it to church this morning

This was my first time wearing a scarf but I jumped on the bandwagon and got one in black and brown just in case I ever need them LOL

I thought the look had a nice feminine rock vibe to it :)

A Subtle Approach

I have had the BEST long weekend! I was off work yesterday so me and the guy went to Columbus for a short get-away. 

I left my camera batteries at home by mistake so all my cute outfits are only a mental memory...

I got this top while I was there from a Wet Seal. I love pink so much! I put it on tonight on our way to dinner with a friend. 

It ties into a cute little bow in the back! My boyfriend HATES shirts like these but I had to get this one lol. He thinks they make me look "preggo" well one day the stuff I have can easily crossover into maternity wardrobe right? LOL

Check out the new watch! My guy wears tons of watches so I thought I would incorporate one into my wardrobe. It's VERY classy! And of course my new favorite sandals that I have had on NON STOP!

I thought gold jewelry would look awesome against the soft pink top. My new favorite ear candy from Express... they are such lovely earrings! I got a silver pair also!

Aren't those amazing!?!

More JEANS! I wanted to be a little more dressy today so I did heels and a blazer with them. 

The colors in this shirt are so pretty. Soft pink, mint green, cream and tan. Too bad I can't get the photo bright enough!

Close up on the shoes! These are one of my favorite pairs. They are a soft pink and I never seen a pair like these!

My necklace is from the Limited. I never can find pieces to wear it with. But today I thought "why not" and threw it on!

When wearing jeans a blazer will instantly take it from casual to polished!

We got to wear jeans ALL week at work! I was excited!

I tied in all the black with my cami, jewelry, and shoes. The jacket was the icing on the cake! It made the outfit very rock-chic LOL

How do I look? These jeans are great also. I got them from a store called Rue 21.

Boho Chic

This is one of my favorite full skirts. Come to think of it I own two. Guess I never was a true fan but this pattern and the pleats caught my eye.

Because the skirt can look very old I usually pair it with a thick belt and sandals to modernize it. A simple t-shirt keeps the look casual yet sophisticated!

These gladiator sandals are SO awesome! Too bad I can't wear them to work, I guess it's a good thing because I would have them on EVERYDAY!

Been a While

As you can see I love pencil skirts. I think they are a wardrobe staple! They transition through the season so easily. You can wear boots or flats with them. Everything WORKS!

Pencil skirts look professional and very polished for office wear. Which I am in 90% of my life LOL

This is actually what I wore to church on Sunday so I wore metallic shoes to make it a little more dressy.

Sunny Daze

I have been VERY busy with work and life so no cool posts this week. Hopefully when I get dressed today the outfit will be picture worthy ;) For now here is what I wore when I went to visit Cincinnati. We went to Eden Park and drove around the city and had dinner. It was a wonderful time!

Today I had on this BRIGHT and colorful dress only to trade it in for black. I need to go browsing some fashion blogs for inspiration!

I did try to incorporate SOME color so that you all don't become bored with me lol!

See look at the turquoise pumps and accessories! Yes my heels are RAGGEDY but I can't find any this color blue anywhere. So I kept them. Might take them to get repaired after seeing this photo :)

In the Navy

I did not feel like putting much effort into my clothing today. A simple navy shirt dress did the trick!

You can never go wrong with a shirt dress. I have about four in my wardrobe for days like this!

I chose a hunter green shoe and accessories to tie it all together...

My favorite thing about this dress... the POCKETS! Every dress and skirt should have pockets lol!

Peach Tea

My favorite skirt EVER. The color of this skirt caught me off guard. It's a peachy orange with almost a gold shine if the sun hits it right...

This is my "my toes and nails are wet but I must be to work on time" pose. LOL. Why do I always get the bright idea to complete the outfit with nail polish when I should be rushing to the door? Too many to count... unless I want to smudge my polish ;)

What polish? Why "gray by gray" by Sally Hansen! I know this is a poor pedi but it was a last minute thing & the color just so happened to be Gorgeous on first stroke! I highly recommend this polish!

...Now back to the reason we're here... FASHION. 

The shirt has been in my closet about four years and it's incorporated sometime every season and every year so far.  I tucked the shirt in and used the tie as a belt for my pencil skirt. 

Sometimes your jewelry can take the outfit another direction. This time it is accenting several colors. The carmel in my skin tone, the peach of the skirt, the dark brown of the shirt along with the cream of the polka dots. All found in ONE piece of jewelry!

These shoes are from Payless. They have also been in my wardrobe about 3-4 years. The color has gotten better with age. I would love to find a pump this color... thanks for stopping by ;)
