In the Navy

I did not feel like putting much effort into my clothing today. A simple navy shirt dress did the trick!

You can never go wrong with a shirt dress. I have about four in my wardrobe for days like this!

I chose a hunter green shoe and accessories to tie it all together...

My favorite thing about this dress... the POCKETS! Every dress and skirt should have pockets lol!

Peach Tea

My favorite skirt EVER. The color of this skirt caught me off guard. It's a peachy orange with almost a gold shine if the sun hits it right...

This is my "my toes and nails are wet but I must be to work on time" pose. LOL. Why do I always get the bright idea to complete the outfit with nail polish when I should be rushing to the door? Too many to count... unless I want to smudge my polish ;)

What polish? Why "gray by gray" by Sally Hansen! I know this is a poor pedi but it was a last minute thing & the color just so happened to be Gorgeous on first stroke! I highly recommend this polish!

...Now back to the reason we're here... FASHION.

The shirt has been in my closet about four years and it's incorporated sometime every season and every year so far. I tucked the shirt in and used the tie as a belt for my pencil skirt.

Sometimes your jewelry can take the outfit another direction. This time it is accenting several colors. The carmel in my skin tone, the peach of the skirt, the dark brown of the shirt along with the cream of the polka dots. All found in ONE piece of jewelry!

These shoes are from Payless. They have also been in my wardrobe about 3-4 years. The color has gotten better with age. I would love to find a pump this color... thanks for stopping by ;)

Flower Power

So... as I was browsing fashion blogs today I noticed I need to start doing more "fashion related posing"... LOL..

Just kidding! I can't hold a serious pose too long without cracking up!

I am on my way to dinner with my guy. Just something I thew on to run out the door... no really!

I wore this dress in the winter with tights and knee boots but I think it may be a part of my spring collection also!

I wish there were blogs about short hair. I think I may add a hair section once I get the hang of everything. Not only do I love clothes, I love hair and makeup also!

Trench Coat Blues

It was raining AGAIN this morning. So I wore my trench coat that I purchased at a local thrift shop!

I wore this Old Navy Dress underneath...

This dress came with a blue belt to tie in a bow but I wanted to make it look a little more "polished"...

There She Goes

Ever have a day where you just FEEL you are all the way together? This is how I felt today. 100% in all areas! I loved my outfit today... I am sure this had a huge factor in the 100% lol!

Yea it's officially spring... but very cloudy today. The turtle neck was cute and warm enough for me!

I wore a leopard print cami underneath.

I love these shoes maybe too much. I try wear them all the time. If anyone can tell me a true nude for my skin tone PLEASE point it out! I love the look!

I wear this purse... no HUGE BAG all the time lol. Who says your purse has to match your shoes??? Well my strap matches ;)

I wore this to work on Tues. I had on a red pencil skirt with black shoes at first but after I rolled the sleeves to reveal the red lining I decided on black slacks!

Dinner Date

Just came from a nice dinner with my guy. Kept it nice and NOT so simple ;)

This shirt is by Milano. I tried HARD not get it in several colors.

It buttons all the way up to the neck. Also look at the peep hole. I am sure this is supposed to be worn to the back, I will wear it that way to work!
